Face Yoga – Anti-Ageing DIY Self-Care

Ayurveda, the extraordinary mind-body medicine of India, derives its view of consciousness and many of its modalities for treating the mind from the great Yogic spiritual resources.

The wisdom of the great sages, known as rishis is more than technical know-how. The forces of nature work actively within you, taking you deeper than the surface, time-bound ego, to the true Self. All that you see, externally and internally, is but a reflection. You are a replica of the cosmos, your inner consciousness, divine.

The perennial secrets of beauty are revealed in this amazing short and practical course. We explore the definition of beauty from the perspective of this timeless, holistic science, some lifestyle and natural recommendations, remedies and traditional therapeutic methods for self and to support clients.

Both Yoga and Ayurveda are not frozen sciences. They have grown with the movement of life itself, of which they partake.

According to the 5,000-year-old philosophy of Ayurveda, the health of our hair and skin is a reflection of our internal balance. Healing interventions include both dietary and lifestyle recommendations, internal and external applications using diet, herbs and nourishing special treatments. The study is vast, and you can find our more about these in many of our short and longer Ayurvedic courses, in person and online.

There is no required prerequisite for this course.

All levels are welcome. Learn for self-care, supporting self, clients, or both.

Self love is self care. Suitable for qualified therapists, e.g. those qualified in one or more of the following modalities: Aromatherapy, Massage, Reflexology, Complementary Therapies or Beauty Therapy (no massage experience required).
