Topic 6.07.08 During Menstruation. VERSION CONTROL: 1 August 2017
It is not necessary to absent yourselves during menstruation. If the menstrual flow is in excess of normal, do not stand on your head or perform shoulder-stand during the period. In addition, the following (listed below) will be beneficial.
– Upavistha Konasana, forward with twist;
– Baddha Konasana, cross-legged sitting, head to feet;
– Virasana, heel sitting;
– Janu Sirasana, head to knee;
– Paschimottanasana, full forward bend and
– Uttanasana, standing legs wide apart, full forward bend
