Topic 6.06.10 Relax and Be Aware. VERSION CONTROL: 1 August 2017


There is no benefit in hurrying through your practices. Yoga grows with time. Move through your sacred journey with awareness and enjoy the experience. Notice your physical sensations. Be conscious. Begin with the basic explorations. Please notice your breath. Be aware of bad habits such as holding your breath. Feel the action and release from deep within.

Allow the movement to unfold as a flower opens. It is a mistake to try to ‘master’ the Yogic movements before a period of being a student of yourself. Forcing your body into the various asanas and Yogic forms, sacrificing function, overusing fuel (energy), enhances ignorance and injury.

Practice with fun … all skills will come.
