Doing Yoga on a bare floor or an uneven place is not recommended. A non-slip mat laid on a level floor is your preferred choice.
The ground or floor for your practice should be:
– a non-slip surface
– level, not uneven
– firm, but not hard. If the surface is too hard, you won’t be able to relax easily.
