Topic 3.1. The Law of Cosmic Consciousness

  1. The Law of Consciousness

If you were to follow every thought, every feeling, and every intention or desire that you now have or have ever had back to its source, you would arrive at the one Source of everything that exists.

The ground of the universe is consciousness, not matter. Consciousness itself is the Essence of who we are. When we realise that our Essence, that which creates, animates and encompasses our minds and bodies, is one of pure potentiality, we can then align with the power that manifests everything in the Universe. Anything is possible, there is endless creativity, and there is no limit to what we can create.

Consciousness is primordial, eternal and self-existent. These three characteristics can transform our samsaric, or confused existence. When change, or impermanence, becomes the continuous freshness of eternal existence, then egolessness is unborn, self-existent Being.

We are living in a mind generated matrix, that creates the illusion of the world we live in. The physical universe is really not as physical as it seems. It is, in fact, just another (denser) layer of the mental universe. The entire universe is a hologram.

The physical universe is simply a simulation, analogous to a computer program, of how ‘reality’ operates on the physical level. All levels of reality are part of that same program. Everything physical is the collective consciousness of beings that are alive and is simply a concept in the Universal Mind. As we imagine it to be, we experience it. Our apparent physical reality is simply a mental construct.

The universal system that we use to create our ‘reality’ in the physical world is somewhat analagous to the way a computer works, but infinitely more powerful.  Our body and our brain represent the hardware, our multilevel mind represents the software program and and the monitor is the screen onto which we project our physical reality through the five sense organs. The multi level mind functions within a shallow, ego-centred, surface level (ordinary waking mind), the subconscious and unconscious layers that contain our core beliefs and karmic impressions from the past, and the superconscious, universal, wisdom mind that is omniscient (all knowing), omnipotent (all powerful) and omnipresent (present everywhere). The superonscious mind is accessed by transcending the surface mind, purifying the sub-conscious mind and unconscious minds (clearing out the viruses and outdated programming you have accumulated) and allowing the universal mind to flow freely from the source to the surface. The immense power of the universal mind to create the world you desire, clearing the lower mind of its baggage (beliefs) is accessed by embracing your true passions and purpose on the planet, and developing the concentrated willpower to pursue that purpose.

Science provides us with an understanding of the logic and order of the physical universe so that we may function within it. The rules of physics exist to guide us in following the rules of a system when we are in it. The five senses operate as energy receptors, carrying energy in the form of electrical impulses along nerves to the brain, in order for them to be processed as information. Our life support system operates as blood carries oxygen from the air we breathe to our cells, in order to nourish and repair them. This physical simulation of reality, however, masks how reality really operates. The Universal Mind, which governs the laws of the physical universe, allows these laws to be overridden. In this paragidm, the Universal Mind enables us to ‘see’ when electrical impulses to the mind are cut off, and to process energy without the means of our blood. At this level, we actually don’t see with the electrical impulses sent from our eyes to our brain through a channel of nerves, but are able to sense directly with our mind. Furthermore, instead of oxygen flooding our cells via our bloodstream, we absorb energy (prana) directly from the universal field of energy. We perceive everything directly with consciousness.

We think as a conscious mind, through a universal, creative medium, a receptive and maleable substance which surrounds us on all sides, permeates us, and flows through us. All mind is One Common Mind, which produces points of mental activity within it. The primary activity and driver of all other thoughts, is the vehement assertion of self (the ego). Your mind and my mind cannot exist as separate entities, because this would be duality. We exist as a Universal Mind, differentiated into individual minds.

The universal field of subjectivity is the key to understanding that everyone is always within us. We might see, hear or touch a person, but that is just a means to experience them through a physical form. The Presence, Essence or Spirit, manifests into form, in order to express itself. The ‘other’ person exists in the universal sub-conscious, which is within us. That is, the other person is us, literally.

As each person thinks, they build a mental atmosphere of movement around themselves, which is generated from a primary thought about self and anything other than the self, subject and object, us and them, including conflict. Thought becomes substantiated in the sub-conscious mind, which is the mental field of a human being within universal subjectivity. We think as a universal conscious mind through a universal sub-conscious medium. The sub-conscious state of your thoughts and my thoughts is present within Mind. Nothing can enter this mental atmosphere unless we allow it to, through the avenues of one’s own thoughts, whether conscious or unconscious.

As Mind is omnipresent, there is no ‘out there’. Everything exists as projections in the external world from within ourselves. Even the very experience of internal and external projection itself, is an experience within Mind. It is a projection of consciousness within consciousness. There really is no external or internal, for everything is in one place – where Mind is. Mind is everywhere, yet nowhere,  here and now. Everything is within consciousness and nothing is outside consciousness.

Eternity and Infinity are better descriptors for time and space, both of which are relative. Time simply means change. It is the distance between events or a sequence of events, within a unitary whole. Beyond that simple function, time is non-existent. There is really only the ‘now’. Time is not a thing in itself, it is simply a measure of experience in eternity. It does not contradict eternity but allows it to be expressed in terms of definite experience. Space, like time, is not a thing in itself, but the medium within which form can be outlined.

The ruling principle of the universe is consciousness, which transforms into thought, which in turn, creates our reality. This wisdom is present in all human beings and can be increased consciously with the use of intelligence. A developed will is the tool for manifesting intelligence. Knowledge is power, and all power is meant to serve love. Love, is thus the highest form of intelligence.

The Law of Consciousness has a tendency, over time, to become more complex within matter, and simultaneously become more conscious. Matter endeavors to make itself more complex all the time. This can be observed in the earth’s evolutionary history: matter has become more complex, starting with inanimate matter, then plant life, animal life, all the way to human life. Or, looking at it from  another way, from the geosphere, to the biosphere, to the noosphere (where humans are represented, because of their possession of a consciousness which reflects upon itself). As evolution rises through the geosphere, biosphere, and noosphere, matter continues to rise, continuously increasing in both complexity and consciousness.

The Law of Consciousness continues today in the form of the socialisation of humankind. The closed and circular surface of the earth, contributes to the increased compression (socialisation) of human beings. As human beings continue to come into closer contact with one another, their methods of interaction continue to become more complex, in the form of better organised social networks, which contribute to an overall increase in consciousness, or the noosphere.

There will come a time where this critical threshold of humankind will reach its highest point of complexity or socialisation and thus its highest point of consciousness. At this point, consciousness will rupture through time and space and assert itself onto a higher plane of existence, from which it cannot come back.

Because the Law of Consciousness applies everywhere, spanning all time, and because of the immensity of both time and space in the Universe, and the immensity of the chances for matter to find the right conditions to ‘complexify’ itself in, it is highly probable that life exists, has existed, and will exist, in the universe, elsewhere, apart from on our earth.

You must understand and work with the relationship between consciousness and energy.

  • Everything is energy. Think about it for a minute. Everything (money, food, a chair, computer, coffee mug, pen, paper, desk, even you) is energy. All of everything is more energy than it is matter.

Matter is simply energy in a highly compressed form (E=mc2). We can see and touch matter. But what we don’t see with our eyes, or are unable to touch physically, is also there, and this is energy.

  • All energy (it does not matter what it is) is a vibration. So every thing in the manifested universe is energy that exists as a vibration. It has a carrier wave. All energy carries a wave of vibration.
  • All vibration contains communication and information. So everything that is energy communicates something to us. Energy is not good or bad. It just communicates to us what is low or high, what feels good or bad and what is wanted or unwanted. A vibration goes out and then comes back to us (the Law of Attraction).
  • Vibrations of everything exist all the time. We can tap into that energy whenever we desire to. Vibrations are always there to be accessed (Law of Deliberate Creation).

Love is always there and available. We simply need to access it.

Abundance is always there and available. We just need to access it.

Success is always there and available. We just need to access it.

Gratitude and appreciation are always there and available. We just need to access them.

Freedom is always there and available. We just need to access it.

Balance is always there and available. We just need to activate it.

Can you see where this is leading. . . what is the feeling that you want to have in your life? Joy, fun, peace? Any and all feelings are always there and available; we just need to access them.
