More Relaxation, Better Thinking
Because of the complexities of our society today, your brain is exhausted just as much as your body.
If you want to protect your recent memories, you must manage your stress. Stress can trigger the release of cortisol, a neuro-drug which can interfere with the brain’s performance, especially in relation to handling recent memories. Furthermore, with chronic stress, the part of the brain which handles recent memories can even shrink.
If you want to prevent this from happening, you need to learn to relax a little, take the time to release tension, clear your mind from the worries and stresses that might fog your thoughts, and never let stress overwhelm you.
A massage, spa or meditation, can give your mind a break from day-to-day hassles and you will feel better prepared to take on another complex day.
Slowing down, stillness, and a deeper connection with your own transitions empower you to navigate and move through collective shifts and change with more grace, presence and courage.
