Did you know that if your eyes hurt when you meet brightlights of an oncoming car at night, for example, you may be suffering from an A-Vitamin deficiency

For a sensitivity to lights and for a feeling that mere dimness is real darkness, vitamins A and B-2 will help to improve seeing in thew dark and give you shiny, healthy eyes.

Check your daily intake of vitamin A, C and B. Strive for a diet that includes a daily dose of carrot, green leafy vegetables and brewers yeast. Dried and fresh apricots are an excellent source of vitamin A and iron. Children love them as a packed lunch, and they are very tasty eaten with almonds. Vitamin C helps to strengthen capillaries. Vitamin B-2 is also very helpful with bloodshot, itching, burning eyes.
