Yoga postures reduce muscle tension, and the body feels more relaxed. During practice, it is the body alone which must be active. Let your brain remain passive, watchful and alert. Do not try to ‘master’ the Yoga movements before a period of being a student – of yourself. If your movements are done with the cerebral brain, you will not be able to see your own mistakes.

Even at the apex of a posture, keep your body relaxed.

It is not that one ‘tackles’ Yoga; one embraces it.

The effort you are making or putting into a posture should never be mirrored in a distorted face.
