Topic 3.2. The Law of Abundance

  1. The Law of Abundance

The Law of Abundance, Sufficiency and Prosperity is a supreme fact of the universe. It is the spirit of infinite plenitude. It is the power that has brought, and is continually bringing, all things into expression in a material form. Everywhere in nature, we see evidence of abundance. There is an unlimited supply of everything and every experience. There is more than enough to go around. Yet most of humanity is poor. The only thing that keeps us from receiving this abundance that is all around us, is our belief that there is not enough. This lie is the lie of scarcity and limitation. It is an incorrect assumption which could also lead to the belief that it is wrong to be prosperous. You don’t need to stay poor, or stay feeling poor, sustained by a group belief that you can’t be spiritual and wealthy, or that there is something inherently flawed in combining spirituality with wealth.

This universe is abundant. Whilst it is true that some people encounter terrible circumstances, and that some countries are wealthy while others are poor, there is, nevertheless, an opportunity in every situation. You can realise this when you take concrete action. Tap into the law of abundance. When you understand metaphysics and that money is just another form of energy, you decide to live differently.

The elements in your environment affect your consciousness. Everything that you see around you will subconsciously impress upon you the idea of poverty or wealth. The more broken and dilapidated things you hold onto without replacing them are, the more you will feel a sense of lack. When you keep signs of abundance in your environment, your subconscious mind will constantly be impressed by the idea of supply and abundance. By causing yourself to feel abundant, you will perpetuate conditions of abundance in your reality.

The subconscious impression of abundance creates conditions of abundance. Seeing abundance in one area creates a mental shift and allows you to start seeing and feeling more abundant in other areas of your life.

Build now upon whatever area in your life that makes you feel rich and powerful. Use this to affect the other areas of your life. The key lies in obtaining more references of abundance for you to be conscious of, to continue impressing upon your subconscious mind the reality of abundance.

Your actions also either create subconscious impressions of wealth or poverty. By choosing to buy the best and quality products for yourself, you are saying that you are worth it, and that you are the best. Your subconscious mind picks up these impressions from your actions and creates conditions in your life that resonate with that state of mind. This doesn’t give you permission to overspend. You need to simply spend in a way that makes you truly happy.

The law of sufficiency and abundance brings us back to the truth that we live in a world where physically, energetically and emotionally speaking, there is an unlimited supply of resources. We are not separate from this abundance but are an integral part of it, and as such, we have the ability to create anything we desire. Whatever you want more of in your life, whether it’s more love, money, joy or success, applying the law of sufficiency and abundance will allow you to tap into the endless stream of abundance within you.

The thoughts and feelings that empower you are ‘abundance’ beliefs.  These ways of thinking allow you to make more positive choices in your life that will open up greater opportunities, and create a flow of wealth and prosperity for you. If you hold abundance beliefs, you feel prosperous and act like a magnet to attract prosperity into your life.

On the other hand, the thoughts and feelings that disempower you are ‘lack’ beliefs. These ways of thinking block you from attracting prosperity and trap you into what is sometimes called ‘poverty consciousness.’ Essentially, this means that whatever you do, you do not seem able to create a feeling of richness and might struggle with debt or just poor money luck. Lack beliefs can make you feel poor, or they may make you feel anxious that you might become poor in the future.
